Highlights include early footage of a Grand National winner at Eyrefield Lodge Stud (1902), scenes from the Bog of Allen peat cooperative, and a compelling snapshot of Ireland from Rathangan writer Maura Laverty. The programme also features vibrant newsreels from the 1960s, showcasing everything from go-kart racing in Castledermot and a chinchilla farm in Naas, to the Batchelors Peas factory in Athy and waterskiing in Ballymore Eustace. A charming look at school life in The Curragh rounds out this engaging journey through Kildare’s past.

Join the Easter Bunny, Sesame Street’s Big Bird and all the friendly farm animals for an action-packed adventure filled with fun, laughter and springtime magic.

Little explorers will follow a trail across the farm — petting lambs, hopping through obstacle courses, meeting chicks and bunnies, and searching for the Easter Bunny’s headquarters to receive their well-earned Easter egg. With tractor rides, pony rides, playgrounds, go-karts, and plenty of Insta-worthy photo spots, this is a full day of family fun, whatever the weather!
