What: Land of Light is an immersive, outdoor illuminated winter walking trail event held in Ireland that combines nature, lasers, large-scale sculptures, and sound installations. This year it will be held in the Irish National Stud and Gardens.

Every meaningful journey begins with a single step into a deeper story. This summer, we invite you to gather at the Solas Bhríde Centre and step out onto the vast, open grasslands of the Curragh for a special 7km guided walk. Together, we will trace the edges of an ancient landscape and connect with the enduring spirit of one of our most beloved saints.
The atmosphere will be relaxed and welcoming, making it perfect for anyone looking to reconnect with nature, history, and community. Led by the Solas Bhríde team, you will experience the unique peace of this sacred space, shared stories, and the timeless beauty of the Kildare landscape.

Tickets are €30.00 per person and pre-booking is essential. Please dress for the Irish weather and wear comfortable walking shoes suitable for a 7km journey. Join us for a refreshing spring forest walk in Moore Abbey Woods. All are welcome, whether you’re a seasoned walker or just looking for a peaceful stroll in nature. Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear for woodland paths.
Arrive a little earlier at 10.15 am if you’d like a quick tea or coffee in the Woodstack Café before the walk begins.
