Kildare 67th Drama Festival presents - Sive

Sive by John B. Keane – Presented by Holycross/Ballycahill Drama Group

Part of the Kildare 67th Drama Festival
Date: 10 March | Time: 8pm | Venue: CMWS Hall

Holycross/Ballycahill Drama Group presents John B. Keane’s powerful classic Sive, directed by Jaqui Lacey. Set in rural Ireland in the 1950s, the play unfolds within the modest kitchen of the Glavin family, where tradition, poverty and social pressure collide with heartbreaking consequences.

Faithful to Keane’s carefully crafted script, this production captures the intensity and emotional depth of the story while building a strong sense of tension on stage. A gripping and unforgettable piece of Irish theatre, Sive remains as moving and relevant today as when it first premiered.

Tickets: Pop in to Kildare Town Heritage Centre to pick up your tickets or visit Eventbrite to book online.
