Celebrate the beauty of nature during Kildare Biodiversity Week 2026 with a fantastic programme of free walks, talks, workshops, exhibitions, and family-friendly events taking place across the county. Highlights this year include sunset bat walks, biodiversity gardening workshops, butterfly and hedgehog talks, the colourful Irish Wildlife Art Exhibition, and the exciting BioBlitz at Castletown House. From bogland exploration to wildlife rescue talks and interactive citizen science projects, there is something for nature lovers of all ages to enjoy. We will be highlighting and sharing more events from the programme in greater detail over the coming days.
