Kildare’s own Green Grannies present Bee is for Bríd, a specially commissioned performance for the Spirit of Brigid Festival. This energetic and imaginative show celebrates St Bríd through stories of busy bees and enchanted pastures, bringing her world to life through song, storytelling, and playful audience participation.

Designed especially for young audiences, the performance explores themes of kindness, creativity, and care for the natural world. Before the show, children are invited to take part in a hands-on workshop, creating their own bee costumes using sustainable materials — perfect for buzzing along during the performance.
