Description:
The Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival is one of the highlights of Ireland’s flat racing season, welcoming racing fans and visitors from across the country to the heart of County Kildare. Known for its exciting races and warm atmosphere, the weekend celebrates both sporting excellence and Ireland’s proud horse racing heritage.

At the centre of the festival are the famous Irish 2,000 Guineas and Irish 1,000 Guineas — classic races that showcase some of the finest three-year-old horses in training. Many of the runners arrive from leading races in England, adding to the excitement and international feel of the occasion.

Beyond the racing, visitors can enjoy live entertainment, fashion, great food and a welcoming community atmosphere. Whether you are a lifelong racing supporter or simply looking for a memorable day out with family and friends, the festival offers something for everyone.

With summer just beginning, the Irish Guineas Festival is a wonderful way to experience the energy, tradition and celebration that make Irish racing so special.
