This docu-fiction explores the life and relationships of famed Irish artist and architect Eileen Gray. Using a mix of documentary footage and recreation, it focuses in particular on the history of her dream house on the Riviera β E.1027. Initially built for Gray and her lover Jean Badovici in the late 1920s, the house goes through dramatic changes over the years β including when Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier becomes fascinated with Grayβs creation. Obsessed with the building, Le Corbusier takes dramatic steps to claim E.1027 as his own.
