1. Explore the New Murals

Over the past few years, Kildare has welcomed a growing collection of street art.
Look out for Mr. Copy’s striking “St. Brigid of Kildare” and the bright artwork along Firecastle Lane.

Another favourite is the large horse mural near the original Turf Club — a nod to one of Kildare’s best-known traditions. These murals bring new life to familiar corners of the town and are easy to spot on a stroll.

2. Admire the Community Mosaic Project

Outside the Kildare Town Heritage Centre, you’ll find the beautiful community mosaic created during the Brigid 1500 celebrations. Hundreds of locals and visitors added their own tiny pieces to the design, making it a true community artwork.

The unveiling drew a big crowd and the project gathered great attention online while it was being made.
